The house

Well I bet you know already from fb status' the seller excepted our offer and the plumbing was like 40$ to fix yay! And so we are closing on the 25th...we are so excited..and of course now we have to move..and let's face it we both thought we would be in this apt for a couple yrs...so we have gained a lot of stuff..and made it home. So packing will be a chore..but at least after the move we aren't moving for a long time. :) Can anyone say "God is good"?

New House Addendum

We put in a new addendum stating that if the seller will fix the termites and any wood rotting organisms such as mildew we will repair the other needs such as plumbing and windows... added on in escrow :) So we just got back from signing that form and it will be sent to the seller today...just waiting now to hear back from him in a timely manner I really hope! Basically he had on the contract that he was at his bottom $ for repairs ...but in our contract we had him agree to 300$ of repairs do to inspection ...so we know he is willing to already cover 300$ it's just a matter of a couple hundred more if he excepts this new offer. I'm pretty sure he is retarded if he says no. He is needing to sell this house and he has already wasted two months with us, so he should say yes to those terms..wouldn't ya say?
Well that is all I know right now! Fingers crossed and thank you for all the prayers...um we still need a lot so keep 'em coming ! Thanks.

Inspection Update!

Well we just got back from the house inspection, it was a little scary but nothing over the top. The inspector was amazing it was a father and son we really liked them.

So the major issues are:
1. there is a little termite damage and mildew...cost 500$
2. there is a plumbing leak(seems to be a seal) in the kitchen connected to the dishwasher ...cost?
3.some of the exterior window sealing needs replaced,it got moister and started to rot...cost 25o$ per window.

So we are going to ask the seller to cover these...and maybe he will maybe he won't we might as well ask.

Other than those 3 major things everything else looked great...
The roof was replace all the way down to the studding(meaning they didn't just tare up shingles and put new ones on)
The deck is amazing and build very good.
the furnace is pretty new
everything is sound and sturdy!
Yay so the new prayer is if the seller will except our stipulation.
we give the new offer tomorrow.
there is your update! It was a neat experience, now I'm going to spend some time with Aaron before Della wakes up...it's amazing weather outside today.

House Inspection

I'm a little nervous because the house we really really want is pending this inspection we are having tomorrow! If everyone will pray that if the Lord wants it to pass it will not only pass but pass with super duper flying colors! :) I think it will, well nothing really indicates that it wont but ya never know. So if it passes I will up date you and I will be smiling super big because that means we can move on to closing.
For those who wanna pray during:
The inspection starts at 1 pm. :)
More updates to come.

Date Night - And Simple Crushes

You know, it's been told that a boy that likes a girl will take her on a date to a scary movie so when she gets scared she will ''confide'' in him... let's face it... hold his hand or tuck her face into his chest during a frightening scene. As precious as that truth is, we know it is not conducive towards our believes or morals and standards ( because we don't date) right? Well yes that is true, and I was thinking about that today, let me tell you why. Aaron and I have netfilx and we enjoy it very much we also like to watch some tv shows together at night. We recently started the series " Lost " it's a great show so far, but it is a little bit scary ... more at night....now that I am a mom I get scared easier Lol its retarded. So there is one epi that freaked me out, during the program I confided in Aaron...doing exactly what I talked about above...held his hand and shrieked into his chest with fear. I thought about it today and then thought about the truth about boys and there date night choices...I think it's a great thing that we have been married over a year and I have a scary movie crush on my Husband still. Praise the Lord. Another side to that thought is...girls confide in your husband, don't be so tough that you don't need his hand to hold or his shoulder to lean on during scary times or sad times or even happy times. This will benefit you girls and also your man. As crazy as you may think this next part may sound it's true. Your man enjoys you needing him! Yep it's true...let him know you need him and he will smile and comfort you and feel all the more manly for doing so, (it's a guy thing, a hero thing) so don't be afraid, when your afraid to have a date night crush and shelter your fear in your husband.
Can you believe all that came from a thought I had about silly boys that try and trick girls into holding hands with them ? :)

So Shall We Live-Another Year

Hi everyone,

Just now getting a chance to make an entry in the ole blog! Life sure is funny and amazing. What a year it has been already. We had Della January 9th I had a pretty long labour and it was the most amazing yet difficult thing I have ever done. A child will change your life in so many ways. I couldn't have imagined what it would really be like, just doing it is the only way to understand. The Lord is always good, but he has amazed me this year with so many things. Let's do a simple break down of the past few years.....at 21 I was married, at 22 I had a baby, and at 23 I should be living in a house. Wow eventful! We are on the brink of buying a house in Republic and Lord willing we should be closing on it the 25th of this month. I'm so excited to have a visual idea of the place we can raise Della and build tons of memories. We have so many memories already, but I would love for her to have a house to keep them in :)

It's Aaron's Birthday today...one amazing day in my heart, the day my husband was born. Life would not be the same without Aaron J. Burks. I asked him what he wanted for his Birthday, and he was totally honest, even though he knew it was pricey ( something I have a hard time doing when asked the same question).
He said a Kinect for the xbox...Yikes! How could I make that happen? We really couldn't afford to spend that right now with all the $$ we are going to need to put on this house and of course the baby bills that are filling my mail box. So I prayed about it...and thought about it. And I did some research on it...And the Lord made it happen, and we are right on track with our bills! It's amazing, I think the Lord rewards a giving heart and a giving wife. I could have said NO WAY we can't afford it. And really that wouldn't have been wrong, but I said yes because Aaron is deserving also it really did make me happy that he got the one thing he asked for that he didn't think he could get. Birthdays are not about what you get by any means...but I had to tell you what a blessing that gift working out was. And now we are making more memories with this new toy! And hopefully burning some fat with the dance game. Della loves to watch us jump around and make fool's of ourselves as we try to do these silly dances. She's such a doll. We had a surprise party for His Birthday on the Sunday the 6th ( Thank you everyone who came ) Aaron had no idea I was throwing this party, even though I baked a massive cake and cleaned the house and made a big meal...he never put it all together! Lol I guess that is good for me. A lot of it was due to a basket ball game distraction that day...yay. It was a fun time, I wasn't really sure how all these people where going to fit in my lil apartment and enjoy them selves, but I think it worked out nicely. So Happy Birthday Aaron! I Love you.
