Saying Goodbye

Now that I put a general update for everyone I wanted to write a more personal post to those that read this and to the family that are close to our hearts here in Mo.

Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye? ~Author Unknown

To avoid that very thing (taking forever to say goodbye) I just wanted to post it on here. I am bad at goodbye's and pretty much dread the idea of saying it to everyone that I love here. I can remain without tears because to me I feel like I will only be gone a little while and then be back. We don't know how long we will live in TN but I like to think we will be moving back here someday and settling down forever. And that is what I think about every time I say goodbye so there are no tears yet." Sigh "I don't really know what to write other than that We love you all very much, this is a big step for Aaron and me alike but a lot more for him ...he has never lived any where but Mo and near his family and he is the first Burks kid to move away. I'm so grateful that he is willing to move and follow the Lord in all this.
Goodbyes are not forever.
Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean I'll miss you
Until we meet again!

Hey here is a thought! You can still read my blog and I will be inclined to write more to update everyone. So saying goodbye is not necessary just see ya later and we will see ya soon.

Desperate update for everyone

Hello all,

Well by now all of you that follow this sparsely updated blog know all this already, but you might care to read anyway :) here is the " new " news... The last news was that we where buying a house and where about to close on it. But a ton of things have changed since then. We actually broke contract on the adorable house and decided to move elsewhere...actually all the way to Tennessee, and we have been living in three different places since we decided that. First we moved in with Jason and Antonia my bro and sis in-law...a big thank you to them also for being so generous as to house us, it was a great blessing. We stayed with them for a week while we prayed and deliberated what to do. Lot's of things kept failing with the house we wanted and other doors kept opening in TN. After Jase and Toni's my Dad booked us a resort in Branson that we could stay at for three weeks. So we moved there still praying and thinking we just decided to make the move and trust the Lord with everything. Aaron put his two weeks of notice at work and has been toughing out the job his last day is today. Our three weeks where up yesterday at the resort so we are spending two nights At Ron and Shelly Burks and we leave for TN Sunday morning. Sigh so I have been moving for a month and yes it feels like it too. It has been fun and scary and also hard at times but it is something we are supposed to do but it's a good feeling to know you are doing the right thing in life. So Sunday we will be on our way to Tennessee back to my old home town we will be living near my sister's renting from here and I am excited to be able catch up and spend time with my bestie...my sis. We will be about 1 hour from my parents and that is awesome that they will be so close for the first time in two years almost. Della is doing great although she is battling allergies ...poor lil bumpkin. I hope they are not something she will have to deal with her whole life. That is the big update I would love your prayers as we travel Sunday and for many things when we get there. Aaron doesn't have a job there yet...but has several good leads that he needs to apply for in person. So pray for him also. We will be going to Victory Baptist Church, we will also probably visit some other churches to make sure where we should be but I attended victory for a long time and know the preaching is good.
